Fixation - in order for gluing to take place reliably, all parts must be compressed together; this can be done using large clamps, or you can make clamps from wooden blocks and wedge the workpieces into them. The tabletop should remain in this position for 48 hours;
Once dry, you need to connect the three parts of the table together, it is best to put a large strip in the middle, and narrow ones on the sides. The fastening proceeds in the same direction as the previous operation, do not forget to lubricate the wooden elements with glue, it still dries for two days;
Horizontal leveling - for this, a thickness planer is used, if this is not available, then you can make it yourself from improvised means; an electric planer is required;
When the plane is leveled, you can begin to level the edges; the wooden table should have the correct geometric shape. Mark it in the form of a scalene rectangle;
Advice! After marking, do not be lazy to mark off the diagonals; if they are not equal, it means that a mistake was made during marking and it should be redone. When making any furniture, follow this principle.
Framing the tabletop - this must be done to avoid longitudinal chips from the table during operation. The frame is made from an ordinary wooden beam with a cross-section of 70x40 mm, making connecting cuts on it at 450. It is important to remove the edge from the outer corners of the beam;
The wooden frame is fixed with glue and self-tapping screws, after which a wedge is inserted into the places where the screws are screwed in and sanded flush with the plane;
